It was their tempo for most of the game. We just decided that win or lose, we were going to go down playing man-to-man. We were just trying to create some easy points.

This is event is personal, but more than that it's a great event to be involved in. It's a worthy cause. Those are two good reasons I'm involved.

The sponsorships are coming in incredibly well. The ones that sponsored last year are doing so again and the ones that didn't are stepping up.

We were dressing nine or 10 kids on the whole roster. But I think that helped him. At the JV level there is no pressure. He could just go out and play his game and since then we have actually seen him elevate his game.

We, of course, want to raise awareness, but we also want to raise funds so we can help find a cure for this disease and improve people's quality of life.

We were able to put Greg out on (Pasco) in the fourth quarter and I think that certainly had something to do with it. Oz (Hopewell) had him for the first three or four minutes of the fourth, then when it was crunch time and we were going to win or lose based upon what they did on their offensive end, we wanted to make sure Greg was on him.

We had a lot of young guys play tonight and our execution wasn't that good. It's tough when you start off by giving up 14 points.

I thought we had it. We closed the gap and I thought things would turn our way.

Greg was the bridge in the program. He was a bridge to the past from our state championship years to now. He's a warrior. He makes mistakes sometimes, but that's because he's always going 100 percent and doing whatever he can to help his team win.

On the other hand, how could anyone decide if it was a good idea without seeing the numbers first?
